Check these, in order:

• Your phone and your air conditioner are on the same Wi-Fi network.
• Breez is allowed to use the local network. On an iPhone, open Settings, then Breez, and switch on Local Network.
• The air conditioner has a Wi-Fi adapter and has joined your Wi-Fi. Breez walks you through this when you add one.
• Some guest or public networks stop phones from seeing other devices. Try your home network instead.

When you add an air conditioner, Breez asks for the make and model and tells you if it works, or what it needs, such as a Wi-Fi adapter. The Supported Brands are listed on the How it Works page, or write to us with the make and model. To look around the app first, open Settings, then Explore a demo home. Nothing in it is real and nothing is saved, and it does not show whether your air conditioner works.

No. Breez has no accounts. Your homes live on your device. The privacy policy explains the few things that reach our servers.

Breez talks to your air conditioner over your home Wi-Fi. To reach it from outside, open Settings and, under Away from home, choose Control from anywhere, for a guide to doing it with your own VPN. See also how it works away from home.

On an iPhone or iPad, Breez keeps your homes in your own iCloud. On Android, you can back them up to your own Google Drive. You can also share a home with a code: open the home and choose Share home (this needs Breez Pro). The code works for a short time. Once someone has opened it they keep their copy of the home, and you cannot take it back. If nobody has used it yet, Stop sharing cancels it.

Controlling your air conditioner still happens over your home Wi-Fi. But for Daikin air conditioners (all except the older SKYFi), Breez checks that it is the real app on a genuine device. Your device must be online once when you first set one up, and about every two months after that. It does this by itself whenever it has a connection. If your device stays offline for more than two months, Breez stops controlling those air conditioners until it is online again.

Breez is free to download, and free to use for one home with two air conditioners. Breez Pro and Breez Host are plans you buy in the app, monthly, annually or as a one-time purchase, billed by Apple or Google. The store shows the price in your own currency.

Apple or Google bills you, so you manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, so ask them. If the law where you live gives you a right to cancel or a refund, that is not affected, and you can also write to us. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. A one-time purchase does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel. On a new device, choose Restore Purchases in Breez. The terms have the details.

Delete a home in the app and it is gone from your device. Removing the app removes everything it stored on the device. Copies in your own iCloud or Google Drive stay under your account until you delete them there. The privacy policy lists what we keep and for how long, and how to ask us anything about it.
